The University of Toledo Ice Hockey Team is proud to announce Bob Felser as the new Head Coach for the 2016-2017 season.

The former UT Alum (’93) brings an added spark to the bench with a wealth of knowledge and hockey experience. As a Head Coach for the Sylvania U18 Pre-Post Team and an Assistant with Northview High School (‘84), Felser knows what it takes to win in Toledo.

Since the 2009-2010 campaign, Felser has led his teams to four appearances in the Ohio State Championships and just as many at the National Championship Tournament, including back-to-back-to-back State Championship crowns from 2010-2012. More recently, Felser managed his club to a bronze medal at the 2015 National Championships.

Felser believes there is more to this team than just hockey. “Everything I do, from teaching a forecheck to a powerplay is geared towards helping the student athlete reach their full potential.” He also added [the main reason wanting to be here], “I want to win a National Championship”.
