Cystic Fibrosis Game Raises $1,645
Some teams like to go out with a bang and the UT Hockey Team did just that in its final home game of year Saturday. With the help of a great crowd (over 350 people) the Rockets were able to raise more than $1600 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
For those of you that missed the event, the day included an open skate with the team, a pizza lunch, and of course an exciting game between the University of Cincinnati and your UT Rockets. Thanks to the generous donations of numerous local sponsors, 30 prizes were raffled off through out the day including a VIP suite at Omni, Walleye tickets, and Detroit Red Wings memorabilia.
The team would like to send out a big thank you to Barb and Joe Phillips for their tireless work in organizing this event along with one to all our loyal fans who made it possible. We greatly appreciate your continued support and especially your generosity in helping us raise funds for the CF Foundation. We would also like to thank the CF Foundation for all of the work they do in fighting to find a cure and for allowing us to be a part of that work.
Thanks again to all of you who made this event such a great success. We hope to see you all again next year
