The UT Hockey Program is very proud to host an annual College Prospects Camp for ALL players interested in playing college hockey. This includes players already planning on attending the University of Toledo as well as those that are still undecided about where to continue their educational and hockey careers.  The main purpose of this camp is to provide all participants a chance to learn more about college hockey, the different levels of competition available, and the different paths a player can take to get to each of these levels.  This camp is also meant to showcase what the University of Toledo and our hockey program has to offer prospective student-athletes. 

 

To accomplish these goals, we’ve created a camp schedule with a number of great opportunities.  First and foremost, the camp consists of a skill skate and two games in which each player and our staff can assess abilities versus returning rostered players and other camp attendees.  We have also included plenty of time in the two day itinerary for the players and their families to tour the university and surrounding area. The final day of the camp features a presentation by the UT Hockey Staff explaining what our program is all about and how it compares to the other types of college hockey.  This presentation is concluded with a lengthy question and answer session to ensure no player or his family leaves with their unanswered questions.


The University of Toledo offers players the most reasonably priced, quality education in the area while also being a part of a competitive hockey program playing for national rankings.  We here at the University of Toledo Hockey Program are very excited to share more about our team with you as well as help young players make the best possible decision when it comes to continuing their education and their hockey careers.  We sincerely hope you will consider joining us for this camp and help carry on part of the tradition that is UT HOCKEY!
